Ironic that you talk about opiates and Izzy Stradlin in the same article since getting sober from heroin is supposedly one of the reasons Izzy quit GNR.

Drug addiction, specifically opiates, is an occupational hazard. OSHA should really be involved!

More seriously, we're all fuck ups. I say it frequently, to learn that someone is a guitar player is indicative of a life of bad choices.

I believe Slash is clean currently. Axl is at least maintaining and claiming he's clean. He's even been putting on some pretty good shows. I'm surprised. I suspect he learned he was going to run out of money.
