In this one, I link to a playlist that's pretty extensive and all about music - most often about guitar, but there's many, many other subjects covered.
The guy's name is Rick Beato and he's a producer with a bit of fame, as well as a writer, song-writer, etc...
What he's here for, on my site and with my stamp of approval, is his videos - of which he makes a ton. Seriously, the guy's very prolific.
I'd expect someone so prolific to actually be making low-quality videos with shitty content, but he has hardly any shitty material and his video production is a fuckton better than I can do.
I linked to just one of his (many) playlists.
It's like 82 videos long and some of those videos are like an hour long. Rick is pretty much a video making machine. Strangely, he's actually good at it.
Unlike many of the YouTube videos (he's actually much more than a YouTube personality), his shit is not just good BUT (I shit you not) he's actually qualified to opine!
That's right... He actually knows what he's talking about when he offers his views.
He also has more than opinions - he's loaded with factual and educational information.
And he does this like 5 times a week. It's amazing. The dude probably makes a video more often than some people on other sites shower, change their clothing, or brush their teeth! For the most part, they're very good material and they're of a high production quality - I think... I'm not actually sure about that, 'cause it's not really my domain. But, they appear to be of high quality to me.
(Maybe someone else could opine?)
Oh, and I ask y'all a question. I ask you if you think I should let people know that they've won the highly covered Approved by TheBuddha stamp and ask them questions and/or try to con 'em into playing us a bitchin' solo. I ain't scared. I'll email 'em and ask them questions, if folks think that's a good idea - and when I have time to do so.
As these articles are probably aimed for publication when i don't have much time, that means i won't be contacting them every time. But, if folks are interested in it then I'll do so.
Last, but not least, I invite you to write/make videos/share recordings. I'll share the stage with you and we (meaning myself and you readers) seem to really enjoy guest submissions. We've had quite a few. I'm not sure how to gauge that, or what to compare the site with, but we get a number of submissions from other people and that's pretty enjoyable.
So, if you'd like to contribute - let me know. It's not about me doing less, it's about me encouraging people to share their passion.
If y'all wanna read the article, here's the link!
