yeah next year at the Olympics i reckon! Meanwhile men's football competition's are getting ready for competition and all the attention will be on that... like normal.

Seriously the only way women's football can be uplifted is by better club competitions, airtime / coverage on TV and another decade or two. I mean i liked the tournament as i'm into sports, but besides the Dutch team i knew nothing about the players or their capacities. While at the men's WC i know 90% of players and what kind of season they had.

Also the thing that irks me the most is that so many other team sports played by women on olympic level; volleyball, field hockey, handball, waterpolo are so much higher in quality compared to their male counterparts then the football women. And those women are often playing as semi-pro in their competitions.
