What a junk article. This headline comes from a single question asked in one survey location. Yes, in Kansas City this headline might hold true. Maybe.
What kills me, is that this study constructed in such a way that wishful thinking skews the results based on party. When the fake headline is: “New study: Nearly half the nation’s scientists now reject evolution”, its no surprise that the group with a bunch of creationists is going to choose it less often than the group full of atheists.
I guess I'm just saying its ironic that a media-hating feller like myself spotted such a subtly disingenuous headline.
Actually the reason I dislike much of the media is because I do not confuse news with opinion and I'm highly suspicious of pieces with opinionated tones.
I do see people that do fall for trash/false stories, but mostly because they while rejecting the opinions of main stream media they embrace opinionated pieces that pander to their beliefs (a common cognitive bias).
