And even in cases where your doctor does need to know your exact weight, you don't need to know if you don't want to. Ask to step on the scale backwards (so you can't see the numbers) and for the staff not to tell you or put it in follow up notes from your visit.

I think you are caught in a reverse time situation rather than have a disordered eating issue
