Basically boils down to this in America:

Keynesian economics is a basic foundation for most Republicans
Austrian economics is what many libertarians base their beliefs on
The democrats are a mix of Keynesian and Marxist economics, pushing far more towards Marxist

We'll never have an Austrian economy :(
