If someone makes a fully analog ship that is immune to the EMP effects it could maybe issue them in more of a pulse manor rather than dumbfire

To be fully immune, they'd need to be sail powered, I think. I was also thinking that however well the ship might be protected/shielded, the drones will still be subject to EMP disruption. A mass firing of EMP capable weapons would sweep the drones out of the sky.
