That's the movement of all units. There are no retreats, so we will go immediately to the build phase. The builds look thusly:

Germany: 1 Supply Center; 2 units; 1 disband (default disband is Ruh)

That's all for right now. Please get your adjustments in to me as soon as possible. If no orders are given within 48 hours for this with disbands, we will default to the above disbands, as stipulated in the rulebook. This is 10 AM GMT on April 9th. I will post my adjustments in 24 hours and then ping each of you. Please send me your adjustments anytime after this post.

yep, i was 99% sure that thats what was happening but there was no moving forward without it.

Well, you know. I did give serious thought to not doing it, if that counts for anything.

I'm glad you weren't blind-sided at least. I was prepared for some vitriol; much rather go forward without it if possible.

i mean, dont expect me not to snail the fuck out of you for it. but its not like i hadnt given serious thought to taking the opportunities presented to me. invading an island is shit, though. you made the name of the game hand russia the win.

Hard to get to the island without ships. :p

It's really hard for France to attack England without giving themselves away (no reason to build fleets in the north, and moving north telegraphs just as much), so it's a hard thing to do regardless. You would need at least a year where you gained a build and I didn't.

And I have no intention of losing now. I figure at worst I can be a part of a draw at this point.

Diplomacy is a strategic board game created by Allan B. Calhamer in 1954 and released commercially in 1959. It's main features from other board games are it's negotiation phases, where players talk to each other, forming alliances and other deals, and the complete lack of luck in the resolution of combat in the game. It has a wide player-base both online and in e-mail and even postal games.
