I have two. I can barely sit down without one plopping on my lap or perch on my shoulder. My girl cat tries to lick my chin every opportunity she gets. I'll be putting my contacts in and she'll try crawling all over me. My boy cat doesn't leave me alone ever. He's laying on the arm I'm using while typing this. He slobbers, not licks, all over my face...generally the ears. He also either sleeps on my pillow or wedged between my legs.

How disruptive are your cats to your everyday life?

Not me but my nephew. This cat craves attention because he was spoiled like a baby as a kitten and then basically abandoned when he got older and the nephews girlfriend left. He gets so enthusiastic he often breaks shit around him because he just turns into an arch-backed rubbing machine. I don't have any cure though, I just give him want he wants when I see him.

Another thing is when my parents visit I have to put a stool next to my chair at the table when we play cards and the cats take turns sitting on there and rubbing up all over me.

Our cat artemis likes to sit on my gfs chest and shoulder. Occasionally she'll sit with me but rarely. Squeakers on the other hand will dash after me into the bedroom, as when I lay down she'll come up and demand lovings. Often laying on my chest or alongside me. She used to be a constant lap warmer while I was on the computer, but has proffered the heating pad as of late .

My brother hates all animals and I live with him. My girl cat learned to never go within 5 feet of him, but my boy cat seems to get off on him being forbidden territory. He won't jump on his lap or anything, he just plops near him on the couch and tries rubbing the side of his mouth all over his head. That results in my brother shouting "bad kitty", him attempting to shove him and me finally grabbing the cat

I guess I omitted that my gf is allergic to cats. And the one that has taken a liking to her has very long fur.

Unfortunately now they've bonded and we have to give her away.

But my point was cats often have a preference of attaching to the person who is least interested in them.

Overly vocal. Like to the point you have to scream "SHUT UP" because he won't stop with loud nonstop whining. My house sitter (was on vacation) said "I know he was vocal but I did not know to what extent and it's crazy."

I mean, my brother yells at him to shut up and he can be heard outside my place with no doors or windows open. I literally had noise complaints because of him. He just generally gets loud when he's either hungry, cuddly or getting rapey and trying to find the girl cat
