I've always been impressed at a cats ability to find something to tie the leash around.
I had a (mostly) indoor cat once that I would put in a harness and take to the park occasionally. I couldn't 'walk' him. He just wouldn't move, unless he was on grass, and I wasn't following.
So I would carry him to the park, then let him run around on a very long leash while I sat and watched with the other parents.
Cat's can be strange.
