I lived in California for so long that I forgot that school busses were an actual thing until I moved out. There are no busses unless you live X distance away from a school, so trying to drive anywhere near a school zone in the morning and afternoon was an absolute nightmare. Most kids would just walk to the nearest grocery store, starbucks, etc. and wait there and just swamp the place which made it very difficult for shoppers/diners/drivers/commuters to do anything around those times.

Buses that were yanked from their routes because they’re not compliant with the Americans with Disabilities Act will be returned to the road
