I dont blame them. It's expensive to get grass green in Texas summers and with the new stadium being half indoor, I imagine it'd get pricier with having to put light on the grass too.

Hopefully the new turf is as good as they say. You'd think by now they'd be able to figure out how to make it play right and safe. Final verdict will be once the players get on it. I'm sure they will be asked about it. We will see next season since they said the Diamondbacks getting it.

Thank God you guys are getting a new park that won't be 115 degrees during games! That is brutal!

Yea, it feels silly getting a new park cause the current one is only about 25 years old and feels pretty modern to me. But its also the 5th oldest ballpark in the MLB and those summer day games are brutal as hell.
