I don't see this as a problem, but I grew up loving Nolan Ryan so strikeouts have a little magic to me, especially if the other team has someone on base. If it's a high strikeout game, it means that you are getting to watch some great pitching. Granted, when you are at a game, its harder to appreciate great pitching cause you can't see the nasty turn the pitch took half way to the plate.

Ryan is great. He was one of my favorites as a kid, still is. I still have his autograph from when he was with the Rangers.

It is definitely more noticeable at the game than on TV. When you're there, you do want to see some more action, plays being made, rallies, etc. Something to get up and yell about.
