How is Phuk different from Reddit, Voat?

I'd like to think that the greatest difference is gonna be the community

Which, I think is what Voat said about it when it was compared to Reddit. But their community is toxic, if not moreso, than Reddit at this point. Sure you can find niches in it, but there was an overwhelmingly aggressive, racist, and brigading minority that shouted over most others voices on Voat. I think that - paired with active admins, will be the main differences. @redviiper

Active admins that engage with the community, is the big one I've seen so far.
Ultimately, it will be the community that that makes it into whatever it becomes.
I don't know what that will be, or even what the admins hope for, but I am hoping it will become the middle-ground.

Send the sjws to Eddit, send the other extremists to Voat. And those that prefer discussion to shouting, and don't become angry when someone has a different view, wind up here.

I think we will have to wait and see though. It's like they say, if you listen closely while making plans, you can hear god laughing.

I kind of want to correct you, but the bugs certainly are defiant sometimes. :) From the sounds of it, that "phuks taken" bug is one of them.

I've had that problem and I reopened the ticket since it isn't fixed by @Violentlight I know having an issue with it as well.

Well they have a bug with that, I was up to 2040 before they claimed to fix it, fixed mine though. I'll go have them reopen it.

red - we're not trying to craft the community for our sponsors, we're not selling your data and history to advertisers

vo - more admins to fix and do, plans to add more features, more financial transparency, better bug tracking/reporting and feature requests system

From what I can tell, this site has only been up for 8 days. I'd say that they are tackling bugs and adding features much faster than what would be needed to remain satisfactory imho.
