Have you played Raid Shadow Legends, or subscribed to NordVPN because a YouTuber talked about it? I don't know anyone who has played Raid, and I am kind of curious if it is actually a thing.

I can had honestly say that I haven't bought anything based off these advertisements, but they must attract reasonable attention because they are so common.

And I know that a lot of the ads happen because YouTube demonitises everything. But the ads mist bring in enough money to make them worthwhile.

No. As a principle, I try to avoid buying anything that I see advertised since it probably means the product is being driven by marketing rather than quality. A quality product has an enthusiastic base of customers who will organically spread word-of-mouth endorsements.

Once the YouTuber starts his ad talk I just skip ahead in the video until it's over. Irregardless I always tend to ignore anything I hear on an advertisement. I'm sure all humans are subconsciously affected by ads they hear like that, but I can't think of a single instance ever where I heard a placement ad like that where I even looked up what the product actually was.
