What invention doesn’t get a lot of love, but has greatly improved the world?

A reliable engine. Specifically snow blowers that start up the first try and go through anything. I love them dearly but can be easily overlooked.

Courier tracking.
The ability to instantly know exactly where your package or delivery guy is currently located.
I once found myself yelling at the pizza guy, through my monitor, that he had turned the wrong way. It's a good thing he couldn't hear me.

In the past a late order or package could lead to a lot of confusion and sometimes be difficult to sort out.
Not anymore.

Murder. People claim to hate it but there would be a lot more shitty people here without it.
