Relevant RedLetterMedia Best of the Worst episode, where one of the films they watch is How to Seduce Women Through Hyponosis, which looks like one of the sleaziest things ever produced and put on VHS tape.
Hypnosis is kind of interesting otherwise. I don't think I'm susceptible to it, personally, although no one has tried it on me. One of my high school counselors was a trained hypnotist (in before "counseling sessions" turned into sex with minors), and he showed off his skills in one of our psychology classes. He talked some about how many people are susceptible (something like only half of all people, as I recall), and how it works, and then did a demonstration with someone who was susceptible, and she did some minor stuff that was funny.
Just my little story regarding hypnosis. All I can contribute, really.
