This would've been a great memberberry ... I recall this well, but then I'm old - LOL

I remember it too. Stopped tuning into The Simpsons about a decade ago but old clips can still make me laugh.

I hear that, I can go back and forth with friends on old Simpsons quotes for hours. I have seen a few newer ones recently most are crap but this one https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bart_Stops_to_Smell_the_Roosevelts was decent.

The shorts became a part of The Tracey Ullman Show on April 19, 1987. After a three-season run, the sketch was developed into a half-hour prime time show and became an early hit for Fox, becoming the network's first series to land in the Top 30 ratings in a season (1989–90).

"Appetite for Destruction" also appeared in 1987. Both were considered subversive, but one is currently rated PG and the other largely forgotten.

The Guns and Roses album?

Yeah, it's not completely forgotten, but rarely talked these days about on its own merits. One of my fav albums.

That album is far from forgotten! One of the most iconic albums of the 80s.

I hear GNR at the grocery store now, on the radio and in movies/tv shows regularly.

Best GNR album, of course long awaited "Chinese Democracy" was a flop.
