Something that also works - "I don't like Trump because he's basically a Democrat"

You are, of course, correct. The political window has moved so far to the left that Trump (essentially an 80s democrat) looks nearly insane by comparison.

God, what I wouldn't give for what used to be a true far-right politician to run for office right now.

Edit: Okay, there's some insanity in Trump but it has nothing to do with his political left-right-ness.

it is depressing to think that Trump actually will be the last "right-leaning" president we will see in a long time. Every swing state will turn blue from immigration and birth decline by 2028, and possibly a few in 2024. Trump is really milquetoast when you filter out the media, so whatever comes next will likely be a disaster.

And the left is trying emotional manipulation so hard right now that people aren't going to care about anything they have to say after Trump leaves office. Everyone will be burnt out on it. So, as in true democrat fashion, they'll double-down and then we'll start to see the real authoritarian inside them.

That's when we'll have a truly "civil" war. It won't involve the government. It will be people against people. And it won't be pretty.

Anyone not brainwashed by the leftist mainstream media can see that Trump is a typical far-left populist. He hates free trade, he hates peaceful international cooperation, he cuddles with murderous authoritarian dictators while calling the liberation of the Iraqi people from Saddam Hussein "a great disaster". He even calls Our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ "a loser". The only reason why his fellow leftist brethren hate him is his unwillingness to destroy Israel and exterminate the Jews. This is something they cannot and will not forgive. Ever.

Also, Homura did nothing wrong.
