I actually have an xp laptop with similar specs, put in an small SSD, and actually got x32 windows 10 working on it and activated. thanks to the ssd, performance is tolerable.

wont upgrade properly to 1809 however . . . . (grrrr)

Why would you put Windoes 10 on a low spec laptop?

they originally had upgraded all the up from XP, and it actually works decent with the SSD for light weight typical old people applications (mail, internet, etc)

so good enough, and it was an educational experiment for me

It probably costs about the same in electricity to run for a day.
