I wonder if any of the shots through the windshield were effective. I could imagine the angled glass both slowing down and greatly influencing the trajectory of the bullets.

Once a bullet hits glass, it's trajectory gets altered. If they were effective, it wasn't due to anything other than shear luck.

On one hand that cop has balls of steel and put his life on the line. On the other he also put bystander's lives on the line.

You would think cops could use a radio while not having to hold and key the mic while driving at high speeds.

I thought that too, drivers are required to use hands free devices. Meanwhile I often see officers on the road using their laptop while driving.

But the radio thing seems like it should have been updated a decade ago.

I hope that cop killed those scumbags. How many of you would be brave enough to continue chasing and trying to get closer to people shooting at you? That cop had one thing in mind. Protecting innocent people from this human trash.

I feel sorry for the people who happen to be in the area while them bullets were flying everywhere.
