US border officials are increasingly denying entry to travelers over others’ social media

USCBP has been doing that for a while now. They even asked me, a US citizen, to show them the contents of my phone on a trip back from Italy two years ago. Of course, I rented a phone for the trip just so I wouldn't have mine with me. They were less than happy that they couldn't pry into my business.

I've (white dude) returned from Europe 3 times this year and had no problems with Immigration officers, I have nothing on my phone to fear. I wish Immigration officers would do even more.
