A prevailing attitude I see from millennials or just people on the internet generally is that society has failed them. Their attitude is doom and gloom. Do you feel this attitude is warranted or not?

No, my failures have almost all been self inflicted. I don't consider society to owe me anything nor do I want it to owe me anything. Most of the time I'm content to do my own thing and not seek validation for my actions unless it's from those who matter the most to me.

Do you feel failed by society?

Not since I stopped visiting reddit.

The generation that has it better then any before is feeling like "society failed them". Lemme tell that to my grandmother who lived trough the occupation of the Germans in WW2 while in her teens, or even my father who served as a conscript in the military for 24 months (like all eligible males) post WW2 untill 1996......

Society didn't fail the "millenials" it created their whole privileged position, these people just have internet access and want attention!

A a kid I shook hands with my mates for what we thought could be the last time when news was getting around about the bombs possibly going off that night. Later on My father built a bomb shelter and proceeded to tell me that if I bought anyone else out there besides myself then he would have to shoot them. The bombs never dropped.

I think people worry too much about things they know very little about in reality.

I try not to act like a victim, but society has objectively failed itself in many respects.
