Why do these migrants have no respect for the country and law that they are attempting to enter? Do they think they are entitled to go wherever they want and disregard the laws and customs of those who live there?

Because they see an opportunity, I guess. In general, I'm not disparaging people who want in, but we need to have some order about it.

In this case, I feel like the father put the child at risk unnecessarily.

My girlfriend legally immigrated here when she was 17 with her parents. It took her brothers almost another 15 years (because they were already adults), and thousands of dollars to get here legally. Pretty much bullshit that people can just walk over like it is nothing.

I feel like there is more to this story than is being told. Something is being left out and I get the feeling that it is something very damning.

The details are there, but conveniently dismissed.

I think he brought the kid because it bettered his chances of getting in, and or attracting media. There's a wife, grandpa and ten other kids back in the village, alive and well.

He likely believed that migrating would be in her interest.

This sounds very much like victim blaming.

The father is alive. I blame him.

Who is the victim and why are they the victim? Being poor does not automatically make you a victim.

One of the shell companies Soros funds probably paid him well, plus blew a lot of smoke up his ass about how easy it would be to violate US law.
